Note

Linux AV is generally available in version 20.2.303 and later. When you upgrade a Linux sensor to this version, and the sensor is assigned a policy with Anti-Malware > Signatures mode enabled, scheduled and on demand scans run automatically according to policy settings. On access scans on Linux machines are enabled by default in version 20.2.462 and later (prior to this version, contact Technical Support to enable on access scans).

The tables below describe the enhancements, fixed issues, and changes included in each version.

• The Required Update column indicates if the fix requires sensor/server update.

IMPORTANT: If you want to upgrade your servers to this version, we recommend that you upgrade all components - Registration server, Detection servers, and WebApp server - to this version.

You can also exclude files from Anti-Malware based on the name of the process that opens the files. This capability is not generally available. CYBR-45677	NGAV	On the System > Policies management > Create/Edit policy > Anti-Malware screen, if you changed the Signature mode update frequency, which determines how frequently sensors download signature updates to an endpoint, the change did not take effect until either Anti-Malware processes or the endpoint machine was rebooted. CYBR-45230	NGAV	On the System > Sensors screen, the Start system scan action did not run successfully on Linux machines. This issue has been resolved.	20.2.341	Sensor	Linux
CYBR-43628	Sensor Management	On the System > Sensors screen, if you upgraded a sensor on a machine running Windows Server 2012 to a Hotfix or a Service Pack version, the upgrade failed due to a verification issue as a result of a Microsoft update. CYBR-39623	Sensor Management	In rare cases the sensor failed to uninstall as a result of a failure in the uninstallation of the protected service. This issue has been resolved. Sensors with this issue can be uninstalled after a machine reboot following the uninstall failure.	20.2.341	Sensor	Windows
